The City of Marshall is looking for Qualified Transit Drivers to provide safe, reliable and affordable transportation to our community’s citizens. Up to 30 hours weekly, Monday - Friday (no weekends). 

Must have or be able to attain a CDL Class C with passenger endorsement.  ($500 sign on bonus if you already have the required CDL, ½ paid after 30 days and remainder paid at 6 months).

Physical Demands: The work is typically performed while intermittingly sitting, standing, and walking in a bus. Drivers are frequently required to reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch in order to secure mobility devices onto the bus and while performing other job duties.  

 Driver pay rate is as follows:

            $12.50/hr start no CDL

            $12.76/hr. with required CDL

            $13.21/hr. after 500 driving hours (approx 6 months)
