How Do I ...

Utility Billing

How do I pay my Utility or FiberNet Bill?

HOW CAN I PAY MY UTILITY OR FIBERNET BILL

AUTO PAY           This option is to have utility and FiberNet bill payments automatically deducted from your savings or checking account on (or up to 4 days prior to) the due date on your bill. The Finance Department urges all utility customers to use this option as it is the most efficient and is completely free to the customer. To enroll you simply fill out an “Automatic Bill Payment Enrollment Form " (also available from the utility billing main page) and attach a voided check. The form can either be mailed in, placed in the drop box, or brought into the Finance Department. Your automatic bill payment will start when your next utility bill is calculated. Customers will continue to receive a monthly bill with the typical breakdown of charges with a special notation “Auto Deduct – Do Not Pay” as a reminder to not pay the bill manually.  The automatic bill pay option may be stopped or canceled at any time prior to your next bill being calculated.
BY MAIL               Mail the return envelope with postage along with your check and remittance advice to 323 W. Michigan Ave, Marshall MI 49068 (Please no cash).
DROP BOX           Just drop your payment in our drop box located in the northeast parking lot of Town Hall. Payments are processed the next business day.
ONLINE                The City of Marshall utilizes Point & Pay as our online payment provider.  There is a 3% service fee ($2.00 Minimum) for those customers wishing to make a payment for a service using a debit or credit card  (No fee for E-check payments). You must first access your utility or FiberNet account by CLICKING HERE and entering your account number. Once you have accessed your account and reviewed the information, you just click on “MAKE ONLINE PAYMENT”. First time users will need to register (one-time only) and once you are registered you may make your payment either by E-check or by credit card. Point & Pay can be used to make a one-time payment or you may set up recurring payments.  For information on how to make recurring payments CLICK HERE. However, if  wishing to set up Automatic payments and are referencing a savings or checking account (not a credit card), we highly recommend signing up for Auto Pay directly through the Finance Department Automatic Bill Payment Enrollment Form ".
