  2022 Street Improvements Contract

Subsection #1: 

• Sidewalk will be installed on Birch Street. Notifications have been sent to adjacent residents. 
• Removals on this area started July 14, 2022
• Paving was completed on July 25, 2022
• Structure adjustments are complete.
• Sidewalk at the intersection of Birch and North Liberty requires additional work.
• Restoration is in progress

Subsection #2: 

• Construction will start June 13, 2022
• Concrete curb removals are started.
• Concret curb and gutter is planned for the week of June 20, 2022
• Driveway approaches, sidewalk, curb and gutter will be complete on June 23, 2022
• Milling occured June 23, 2022
• Paving occurred June 24, 2022
• Structure adjustments are complete.
• Restoration is in progress.

Subsection #3:

• E Green Street has been moved into subsection #3 so that work on this section can be completed prior to school starting in late August. See updated map at link above.
• Concrete removals have begun in this section.
• Sidewalk will be installed on Locust street. Notifications have been sent to nearby residents. 
• Concrete curb and gutter improvements will continue the week of July 4, 2022.
• Concrete installation on Hanover is complete. Open to traffic on July 3, 2022.
• Concrete sidewalk installation started on Locust on June 30. Concrete is expected the week of July 4. 
• Milling was completed July 7, 2022
• Paving was completed July 11, 2022
• Structure adjustments are nearly complete.
• Concrete sidewalk still needs to be completed on the east end of the 600 block of E Hanover. 

Subsection #4: 

• Concrete removals have been started.
• Paving date has not yet been determined

Subsection #5:

• Milling occured on May 19, 2022.
• Concrete work is complete.
• Paving was completed June 1, 2022.
• Manhole structure adjustments are complete.
• Restoration has been completed and will be monitored for establishment.
• The punchlist walkthrough is complete - contractor will be working in the area to complete remaining work.

Subsection #6:

• Milling occured on May 12, 2022. 
• Concrete work occured week of May 16, 2022.
• Paving was completed on May 20, 2022.
• Manhole structure adjustments are complete.
• Restoration has been completed and will be monitored for establishment.
• The punchlist walkthrough is complete - contractor will be working in the area to complete remaining work.

Subsection #7: 

• Concrete removals started June 1, 2022
• Milling scheduled for June 7, 2022
• Concrete approaches started June 1, 2022
• Paving was completed on June 10, 2022
• Manhole structure adjustments are complete

  Prospect Street Watermain Replacement and Improvements

W Prospect; Verona to North Linden - Watermain Replacement and Reconstruction

• No update

W Prospect; North Mulberry to North Eagle - Watermain Replacement and Reconstruction

100 Block of W Prospect:

• Concrete driveways can now be accessed and driven on
• Asphalt was installed on June 24, 2022
• Due to construction at Eagle and Prospect - residents should access there homes from Division Drive end of the block
• Top layer of paving is planned for August 10, 2022

200 Block of W Prospect:

• Granger will pickup up curbside carts for the 200 block of W Prospect near 217 N Grand while the road is under construction
• Tentative start date is June 20, 2022. Contractor will move from Eagle Street to the west on W Prospect.
• The intersection of Eagle and Prospect is open for local residents
• The valve installation scheduled for June 29 is complete.
• Watermain installation is complete.
• The watermain passed all testing.
• Water service installations are complete.

300 Block of W Prospect:

• Granger will pickup up curbside carts near 217 N Grand while the road is under construction
• Watermain installation is complete
• The watermain passed all testing.
• Water service installations are complete.

400 Block of W Prospect:

• Granger will pickup up curbside carts near 226 N Sycamore while the road is under construction.
• Watermain installation is complete.
• Testing will occur after watermain is installed in the intersection of N Kalamazoo and Prospect - anticipated for the week of August 8, 2022

E Prospect; North Division to North Madison - Full Reconstruction:

• Milling was cancelled for 5/19/22 and will no longer occur.
• Removal of the street is scheduled to start May 31, 2022.
• Concrete curb is complete.
• Concrete driveways are planned to be installed June 7 and June 8
• Base paving was completed on June 10, 2022
• Restoration has been started.
• Top layer of paving is planned for August 10, 2022.
