Director of Electric Utilities
The City of Marshall is seeking a Director of Electric Utilities to manage the City’s electrical production, distribution and metering departments. There are approx 4,500 commercial, industrial and residential electrical customers. The City is seeing a load growth from 27 MW to over 50 MW. A new sub-station is planned for construction in 2022. The successful candidate will be a people person with exceptional leadership skills and solid knowledge of overhead and underground electric distribution, transformers, meters, and budgeting. Will report to the City Manager.

Five to eight years of progressively responsible experience required. Municipal utility experience and bachelor’s degree in related field a plus. $120,000 - $130,000 DOQ plus fringe benefits.
